The Mystery of the Church comes from Ephesians 3:1-13

"The mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places."

Veiled in mystery, In the shadow He
Concealed His Servant in His quiver His Perfect Sharpened Arrow
Formed within the womb, to bring Jacob home
The Holy One, the Lord’s Redeemer A Light to all the nations

The mystery of Jesus Christ, that Jew and Gentile now unite
The Father made His Son a Light to gather all His children
The church the Lord’s eternal plan, concealed until the Son of Man
Was born and died and raised again, and now He calls His children to Him

We are fellow heirs of inheritance
Partakers of His promised blessing In Jesus through the Gospel
We are grafted in by the Father’s hand
The kindness and severity of God through this His Gospel

The Father formed His church to bring salvation to the earth
His Son He made a Light to bring salvation to all nations
