(Hebrews 9:1-14)
Though God did ordain the first covenant
Its rules and its form were not permanent
The whole tabernacle was transient
Though earthly its form was significant
(PRE-CHORUS)
In the holy of holies behind the second veil the glory of God dwelt
Only the high priest could enter once a year the Day of Atonement
At the mercy seat God and man would meet
Through the blood of beasts, In the hand of priests
And for the moment There was atonement
But it was only for the moment
(CHORUS)
Then Christ appeared The Great High Priest
Through His own blood Our Mercy Seat
He entered in the holy place Now once for all He has obtained
Eternal Redemption
Our sins are forgiven Here now and forever
Redeemed by our Savior
Eternal Redemption
(VERSE 2)
The priests of this earth worked continually
They worshiped and sacrificed constantly
Anointing and cleansing religiously
Before they could enter the heavenly

(Hebrews 9:15-28)
Since a death has taken place
The redemption of our sins
We the called now may receive Eternal inheritance
Now if a last will exists It necessitates a death
For it is not satisfied While the one who made it lives
(PRE-CHORUS)
Jesus is the only one who satisfies And so Jesus died
(CHORUS)
He offered up Himself one time The unblemished sacrifice
It is finished once for all Sin is nailed upon the cross
He suffered once and not again He bore the wrath and paid for sin
(VERSE 2)
Even the first covenant Ratified by blood of beasts
Now the New has been confirmed By His blood it is complete
(PRE-CHORUS 2)
Through the shedding of His blood our God forgives And so Jesus bled
(BRIDGE)
He is not offered more than once, the sacrifice is done
Jesus will appear again Here we wait, we wait for Him
Here we wait for Him, Here we wait, we wait for Him

(Hebrews 10:1-18)
The Law is just a shadow of the work of Christ
A reminder that our sin requires sacrifice
Continually the priests would offer year to year
Though the blood was shed the sin would never disappear
(PRE-CHORUS)
For it’s impossible For the blood of goats (bulls)
To take away our sins So God became a man
(CHORUS)
We are sanctified By the will of God Through the death of Christ
By His sacrifice He perfected all Who are sanctified
The Spirit testifies that He’ll write His laws upon our minds
And forgive our sinful lives For the blood of Christ has now paid the price
(VERSE 2)
He came into the world to do the Father’s will
The Law has passed away now having been fulfilled
He finished all His work and having paid for sin
Ascended to the Father ‘til He comes again

4. |

(Hebrews 10:19-25)
We have confidence brethren
To enter the Holy Place by the blood of the Lamb
‘Cause Christ has made a living way
For Jesus has torn the veil through the nails in His hands
He bids us come in
And draw near to Him
(CHORUS)
Let us draw near with a sincere
Heart in assurance of faith
Having our lives and hearts purified
Washing transgression away
Let us hold fast the hope we confess
For Jesus is faithful and true
Encourage each other in love
Fixing our eyes up above
Let us draw near

(Hebrews 10:26-39)
If we go on sinning willfully having know the truth of Christ
And reject the cross deliberately, there remains no sacrifice
If we trample Jesus underfoot, having spit upon His blood
And we disregard the grace of God, then the fire of God will judge
It’s a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of God
Having willfully rejected the atonement of His Son
In a little while the Son will come and He will not delay
He will reconcile the righteous ones, for they will live by faith
So hold your confidence with boldness proclaiming Jesus Christ
In obedient endurance, for your reward is life
Don’t turn away Don’t turn away from faith
Don’t throw away the confidence you had
Or fall away from the inheritance that lasts
Salvation still remains for those who trust in faith
But those who turn away, the fire of hell awaits
Just remember days when you endured, suffered publically for Christ
In His name renouncing all the world, hoping for eternal life

By Faith (11:1-40)
03:51
|

(Hebrews 11:1-40)
By faith the worlds were prepared by His word
By faith the offering of Able was good
By faith Enoch was taken away
And Noah prepared for the coming of rain by faith
By faith Abram was called and he went
By faith he entered a foreign land
By faith God spoke and Abram believed
He promised a child and then Sarah conceived by faith
By Faith
All these died in faith while the promise still remained
God is not ashamed to honor them who honor Him by faith
By Faith
By faith Abraham offered his son
By faith Isaac blessed Jacob alone
By faith Jacob blessed each of the sons
Of Joseph who told them to carry his bones
By faith Moses believed in the Lord
By faith delivered the people of God
By faith they passed through the sea on dry land
And pharaoh was drowned when the water caved in by faith
By Faith
All these died in faith while the promise still remained
God is not ashamed to honor them who honor Him by faith
By Faith
What more shall we say for we lack time to tell
Of Jephthah and Samson and Samuel
By faith David conquered and prophets proclaimed
Some were delivered and others were slain
They were tortured and killed they were sawn in two
Chained and imprisoned and destitute
They were mocked and were beaten, tempted and stoned
Men whom the world was not worthy to own
All these died in faith while the promise still remained
God is not ashamed to honor them who honor Him by faith
By faith strangers and exiles on earth
By faith disowning the land of their birth
By faith with eyes their heavenly home
Men whom the world was not worthy to own by faith

7. |

(Hebrews 12:1-3, 12-17)
Let us lay aside every encumbrance
And the sin that so easily entangles us
Let us run with all endurance
This race that is set before us
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus
Author of the faith that frees us
And for the joy before Him
Endured the cross and bore our sin
For consider him who has endured
Hostility by all the world
So you will not grow weary
And you will not lose heart
For Christ who has endured
Sits by the throne of God
Now lift your tired hands
Make strong your feeble knees
Cut a straight path for your feet to keep from falling when you're weak
With all men strive for peace and holiness
To be a way for all to please the Lord and making sure that none fall short

(Hebrews 12:4-11)
(VERSE 1)
Every son is disciplined up to be a better man
Being trained by fleeting pain to be righteous in the end
(PRE-CHORUS 1)
We have not endured to the point of shedding blood
And we must not forget the words of God
(CHORUS)
Nor carelessly regard the discipline of God
Nor faint when we’re admonished here by Him
For He scourges every child with love through every trial
And sanctifies our sinful minds within, by discipline
(VERSE 2)
Discipline reveals our sin like a thorn within our flesh
Though we seek to find relief still the pain may linger yet
(PRE-CHORUS 2)
His grace will satisfy and will perfectly suffice
And we must not forget the blood of Christ
(BRIDGE)
It is for disciple that all the saints endure
And by our suffering our minds can rest assured
That we are children in whom God is making pure
Because by discipline the sons of God mature

(Hebrews 12:18-29)
(VERSE 1)
We have not come to Sinai in darkness, fire, and gloom
Where even Moses shook in fear of death and doom
No, we have come to Zion saved, redeemed, and free
Where all the angels bow and praise the risen King
We will glorify with the angels we will cry
As we praise a holy God
(CHORUS)
We have come to Zion The city of the living God
By the blood of Jesus Christ The atoning sacrifice
We are cleansed form every sin we’re enrolled as citizens
In heaven, Jerusalem, We have come to Zion
(VERSE 2)
Now having witnessed Zion do not return to works
For only fire awaits if you refuse His words
The best of heaven and the earth will never last
Amidst the all consuming fire of holy wrath
There is nothing safe apart from saving grace
Only faith by grace will save

10. |
||||
(Hebrews 13:1-14)
Don’t neglect to show your hospitality to strangers
For by this, without knowing, some are entertaining angels
Remember those in prison and the saints who are mistreated
For we are all the body and the head of all is Jesus
Marriage should be held in honor among all
The marriage bed should be undefiled
Free from loving wealth, our hearts shall be content
So we say with strength and confidence
The Lord is my Helper, I will not be afraid
What will man ever do to me?
God will not desert me, He will not forsake
Jesus Christ will always be the same
Christ will never change
Remember those who shared the Word of God when you were saved
Consider your salvation and then imitate their faith
Do not be swept away by random teachings that are strange
But let your heart be strengthened now by God’s eternal grace
Jesus suffered death so we could all be saved
We shall follow Him in suffering
We will stand beside Him bearing His reproach
And cling to Jesus Christ our living hope
For this is not our home
We are seeking things to come
The world will pass away
But Christ will never change

11. |

(Hebrews 13:15-25)
(VERSE 1)
We have come to bring a sacrifice of praise
Through the true High Priest in Jesus name
We offer you our love and offer you our deeds
By these sacrifices God is pleased
We pray for all Your saints, Lord cover them with grace
(CHORUS)
The cry of our lips sings Hallelujah
The work of our hands will praise the Lord
The cry of our lips screams Hallelujah
The work of our hands will praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
(VERSE 2)
We have come to bring a sacrifice of praise
By obeying those whom God ordained
We submit to bring them joy instead of grief
By these sacrifices God is pleased
We pray for all Your saints, Lord cover them with grace
(BRIDGE)
Now the God of peace who raised the Son
Through the blood of His perfect covenant
Work within our lives, may we please
Your sight To the glory and praise of Jesus Christ
